GIRVAN GROUP UQCHINCHILLA Gerkies 48 resized

SQRH has established an aged care education hub in partnership with Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) in Chinchilla. The purpose of this initiative is to provide high quality rural clinical placement opportunities that have an aged care focus for nursing and allied health students within the Western Downs region. The program works with SCCQ, and other providers in the region, to develop placement opportunities and innovative service-learning programs to enhance student learning whilst providing high quality health service provision.
