WHAT IS THE WORKSHOP ABOUT?

This workshop series has been developed to support clinicians who are new to student supervision, want to improve their supervisory skills, or for whom it has been an extended period of time since providing supervision to students.

This workshop is appropriate for clinicians from all professions including nursing, midwifery, allied health, and medicine.

29th April 2025 - Considerations for Hosting Students

6th May 2025 - Facilitating Reflective Practice - Introductory Level

20th May 2025 - Facilitating Clinical Reasoning - Introductory Level

27th May 2025 - Understanding Teaching and Learning Styles

3rd June 2025 - Providing Effective Feedback

10th June 2025 - Managing Underperforming Students

17th May 2025 - Student Led Projects

24th June 2025 - Introduction to Interprofessional Education

Please note this registration is for all 8 topics. Please ensure you advise via email to sqrh@uq.edu.au if you are unable to attend on the day.

If you are only wanting to attend single workshops, please register via the specific workshop event option for each topic.

All workshop material will be emailed to you prior to each workshop and all workshops will be online via Zoom.
